Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Zabotkin announced the impossibility of changing the limits on withdrawing currency from accounts

This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Bank of Russia Alexei Zabotkin.

“In conditions when, by decisions of the authorities of unfriendly countries, the flow of cash dollars and euros into the territory of the Russian Federation is strictly limited, or rather prohibited, it is impossible to change the withdrawal limits,” RIA Novosti reports. 

Earlier, Bloomberg reported that Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Ireland and Poland have proposed to ban the transfer of dollar bills to Russia.
