From January to August, the operating income of industrial enterprises above designated size reached 87.89 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.4%; operating costs were 74.56 trillion yuan, an increase of 9.7%; the operating income profit margin was 6.29%, a year-on-year decrease of 0.67 percentage points.
