Since 1999, the air transport rating organization Skytrax has compiled a recognized ranking of the 100 best airlines in the world.

His latest awards were revealed this Friday at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2022 ceremony in London, reports

Le Figaro

.

Faced with the domination of Asian companies, Air France continues to hold its own.

To establish its ranking, Skytrax surveyed more than 14 million passengers from September 2021 to August 2022. Survey participants were administered a questionnaire that covers all aspects of their journey, from the quality of booking service to from the delivery of baggage, to the quality of the flight.

Air France's progress

For the seventh time, Qatar Airways has been crowned the best airline in the world.

The Persian Gulf company had already won first place in 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017, 2019 and in 2021. For its 25th anniversary, Qatar Airways also won the award for "the world's best business class" and " world's best business class lounge catering service”.

In second place, we find Singapore Airlines (Singapore).

Then comes Emirates (United Arab Emirates), ANA - All Nippon Airways (Japan) and Qantas Airways (Australia).

The best just got seven times better.

We are proud to be Skytrax 'Airline of the Year' 2022 for a record seventh time.
