300 experts and 40 local and international institutions participate in the "Dubai Metaverse Forum"

The activities of the “Dubai Future Forum” will be launched today, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation, at the “Museum of the Future” and “Area 2071” in Emirates Towers in Dubai, with the participation of more than 300 experts and specialists and 40 institutions and technology companies from the UAE and around the world with more than 25 sessions and workshops hosting more than 30 speakers.

The Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Managing Director of the Dubai Future Foundation, Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, confirmed that “the organization of the (Dubai Metaverse Forum) aims to achieve the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, The importance of supporting the adoption and development of the latest future innovations.”

He said, "This global event, hosted by the UAE, constitutes a new step of its kind to unify the visions of government agencies, technology companies, international organizations and institutions on the future of metaverse, and paint a comprehensive picture to explore its opportunities, capabilities and various applications that will bring about radical transformations in various key sectors."

Al Gergawi pointed out that the Dubai Metaverse Strategy, launched by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation, represents a pioneering and innovative global model for the role of governments in launching comprehensive initiatives and strategies that employ technologies and innovation of the future. Develop digital and legislative infrastructure, and support qualitative ideas based on metaverses.
