Domestic gas station gas prices fell this week.



According to the Korea National Oil Corporation oil price information system, Opinet, the average selling price of gasoline at gas stations nationwide in the third week of September was 1,731.6 won per liter, down 8.8 won from the previous week.



The average price of gasoline this week in Seoul, the highest-priced region in Korea, was 1,800.1 won, down 11.2 won from last week.



The average price of gasoline in Daegu, the lowest region, was 1,683.2 won, down 8.9 won from last week.



The sale price of diesel this week was also counted at 1,855.0 won, down 2.7 won from last week.



Domestic gasoline and diesel prices are expected to decline next week as well.



An official from the Korea Petroleum Association predicted that "international oil prices will continue to decline this month, and domestic gasoline and diesel prices will also fall for the time being."
