Toyota Motor Corporation has announced that it will end production at its plant in St. Petersburg, Russia.
Due to the influence of Russia's military invasion of Ukraine, it became impossible to procure parts, and production had been suspended since March this year, but since it is not expected to resume, production activities will be terminated and the factory will be closed.
The company will proceed with the procedures for discontinuing production, and will provide maximum support to local employees.
