Dubai Chambers announces the appointment of Mohammed Ali bin Rashid Lootah as General Manager

As part of its quest to achieve the vision of leadership in enhancing Dubai’s global economic position, and its keenness to attract talent and expertise capable of continuing the march of achievements, Dubai Chambers announced today the appointment of Mohammed Ali bin Rashid Lootah as Director General of Dubai Chambers, who will begin exercising his new position as of October 24.

Mohammed Ali bin Rashid Lootah will lead the directions of the next phase and supervise the implementation of Dubai Chambers' initiatives and strategic plans according to the key performance indicators, in coordination with the various sectors and stakeholders.

It will also work to build on the achievements made at the local and international levels and continue to enhance the role and position of Dubai Chambers as an active partner in achieving the goals of comprehensive economic development in the Emirate of Dubai.


Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Ghurair, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dubai Chambers, said: "Dubai Chambers are keen to achieve the vision of the rational leadership, to continue work and innovation with performance to enhance the economic growth process that Dubai is witnessing, which consolidates its global position as a center for business, trade and investment."

He continued, "The appointment of a new Director General of Dubai Chambers constitutes an important step to employ creative capabilities and energies capable of setting policies and implementing strategic plans, which requires working as a team, and employing all capabilities and energies to anticipate time and achieve the long-term economic goals of the Emirate of Dubai."

Mohammed Ali bin Rashid Lootah has distinguished practical experience in which he was included in many positions and proved his worth in many initiatives that he led, the most recent of which was the position of Executive Director of the Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Sector, and Acting Executive Director of the Commercial Registration and Licensing Sector in the Department of Economy and Tourism in the Emirate of Dubai
