Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department amounted to more than 6.7 billion dirhams. During the past week, the department witnessed the registration of 1902 pledges of allegiance, worth 4.8 billion dirhams, of which 243 pledged allegiance to land, worth 1.29 billion dirhams, and 1659 pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, with a value of 3.51 billion dirhams.

The department stated in a statement yesterday that the most important land sales came at a value of 100 million dirhams in the Burj Khalifa area, followed by a pledge of 50 million dirhams in the fourth area of ​​Al Barsha South, followed by a pledge of 48 million dirhams in the third Umm Suqeim area.

Al Habiya region topped the fifth regions in terms of the number of allegiances, with 102 pledges worth 247 million dirhams, followed by Jebel Ali First region with 37 pledges of 162 million dirhams, followed by "Al Yafra 2" with 20 pledges of 24 million dirhams.

With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, a pledge of 145 million dirhams came in the third Umm Suqeim area, followed by a pledge of 120 million dirhams in the same area, and finally a pledge of 45 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area.

The Business Bay region topped the regions in terms of the number of pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, as it recorded 232 pledges of allegiance worth 324 million dirhams, followed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens with 181 pledges of 349 million dirhams, and a third in Dubai Marina with 117 pledges worth 377 million dirhams.

Mortgages amounted to 1.66 billion dirhams, including 88 mortgages of land, worth 700.36 million dirhams, and 292 mortgages for villas and apartments, with a value of 959.9 million dirhams.

The donations witnessed the registration of 119 donations worth 286.17 million dirhams.
