Ivan Chebeskov, Director of the Financial Policy Department of the Ministry of Finance of Russia, said on the sidelines of the international banking forum "Banks of Russia - XXI Century" that Russian banks do not currently need systemic additional capitalization.
“At this stage, we believe that systemic additional capitalization is not needed,” TASS quoted him as saying.
