Oracle opens an innovation center in Abu Dhabi to support building a knowledge-based digital economy

(Oracle) yesterday announced the opening of an innovation center in Abu Dhabi, which aims to enhance digital innovation initiatives and efforts and support and enhance efforts to build a knowledge-based digital economy in the emirate.


The new center is located in the “Oracle” office, on Al Reem Island in Abu Dhabi, and was called the “Future Center for Innovation in the Emirates”, and was inaugurated by the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Hamid Al-Askar, in a ceremony attended by prominent officials in a number of government agencies in Abu Dhabi. and Oracle Executives.


Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hamid Al Askar said: “The Future Center for Innovation is the ideal destination where creative minds gather to exchange knowledge and inspiration and collaborate to enable new innovations in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The center will serve as a platform that brings together government agencies, public sector institutions in Abu Dhabi, and Oracle customers and partners to reach a broader and deeper understanding and to benefit from the potential of emerging technologies.


In turn, the center will provide training programs and courses that hone the skills of students, businessmen and women in Abu Dhabi in the field of digital technology.

The Future Innovation Center in the UAE is the second Oracle Innovation Center to be opened in the country.

Oracle's Zayed Innovation Center in Dubai has hosted hundreds of executives from the public and private sectors from all over the UAE and around the world over the past years, with the aim of providing training workshops, supervision sessions, and joint exploration of innovative ideas.

Through the Zayed Innovation Center, Oracle has helped hone the skills and capabilities of more than 1,000 Emirati graduates from the Higher Colleges of Technology in the field of modern digital technology.
