The American fashion brand "Forever 21", which withdrew from Japan in 2019, will be sold again in Japan from next year.

This was announced at a press conference on the 21st by the American company that owns the domestic apparel giants Adastria and Forever 21.

"Forever 21", which went bankrupt in 2019 and withdrew from Japan, is currently developing more than 570 stores around the world while reviewing the price range and sales system under the American company that owns the brand. Adastria will handle product planning and store openings as a partner company in Japan.

Targeting customers in their late teens to early 30s, the company plans to implement thorough production management that considers the environment when producing and selling products, and does not create waste.

In addition to starting sales through the Internet site in February next year, we plan to open stores in suburban shopping centers in Kanto and Kansai after April, aiming for sales of 10 billion yen in five years.

At a press conference, President Osamu Kimura of Adastria said, "There were many parts that I could sympathize with this brand, which has changed from the era of mass production and mass disposal in the past. I would like to buy something better than the increased number due to the corona crisis. We want to meet the needs," he said.
