  From January to August 2022, a total of 6.998 million Chinese brand passenger vehicles were sold, a year-on-year increase of 24.5%, accounting for 47.8% of the total passenger vehicle sales, and the share increased by 4.9 percentage points over the same period last year.

  In August 2022, the market shares of Chinese brand cars, SUVs and MPVs were 42.3%, 52.3% and 59.2% respectively. Compared with the previous month, the market shares of Chinese brand cars increased, while SUVs and MPVs decreased slightly; Compared with the same period of the previous year, the market share of Chinese brand MPVs has declined, and both Chinese brand sedans and SUVs have increased.

  From January to August 2022, the market share of Chinese brand sedans, SUVs and MPVs was 38.8%, 54.4% and 58.7% respectively. Compared with the same period of last year, the market shares of Chinese brand sedans and SUVs maintained growth, while MPVs declined. .
