According to the website of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, after collecting statistics and reporting data from various places, in 2022, the country plans to start new construction and renovation of 51,000 old urban communities and 8.4 million households.

From January to August 2022, 48,300 old urban communities and 7.99 million households will be newly renovated nationwide, accounting for 94.4% of the annual target in terms of the number of communities.

Among them, Hubei, Guangdong, Inner Mongolia, Guizhou, Shanxi, Shandong, Hebei, Jiangsu, Qinghai, Jiangxi and other 10 provinces have newly started to rebuild the number of old urban communities and completed the annual plan.
