To qualify a Palestinian who commits an attack in Tel Aviv as a terrorist is one thing
," said a resident of Jenin, met this week.
"
But conducting almost daily armed operations in the Palestinian Territories is called occupation
," said the same witness, whose son was killed by the Israeli army.
The names of the two Palestinian deaths that night add to a long list of more than 90 people killed by the Israeli army in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the year, according to a Palestinian count.

Fear of renewed violence
According to an Israeli army officer, the two Palestinians “neutralized” last night approached an army observation post, near the separation barrier between Israel and the West Bank, territory occupied by the state Hebrew since 1967.
The two “suspects” immediately opened fire.
The soldiers returned fire.
Both men were shot.
An Israeli officer was killed in this exchange of fire.
With the approach of the Jewish holidays, from the end of September, the army fears a renewed intensity of violence.
No additional device is currently in place.
