Today (14th), the won/dollar exchange rate broke through 1,390 won for the first time in 13 years and 5 months.



At around 9 am today, the exchange rate of the won against the dollar rose to 1,393.0 won in the Seoul foreign exchange market.



It is the first time in 13 years and 5 months since the exchange rate exceeded 1,390 won on March 31, 2009 (1,422.0 won based on the high price) at the time of the financial crisis.



Amid the super-strength of the dollar, the exchange rate has continued to rise higher after breaking the 1,300 won mark for the first time since the financial crisis on June 23.
