During the same period, it increased by 49.6%, which was 39.5 percentage points higher than the national growth rate.

Among them, exports were 120.94 billion yuan, an increase of 58.2%, 44 percentage points higher than the national growth rate; imports were 24.64 billion yuan, an increase of 18%, 12.8 percentage points higher than the national growth rate.

Especially in August, Xinjiang's foreign trade rose against the epidemic. The total import and export value reached 30.1 billion yuan, an increase of 119.3%, a record high monthly import and export, and the growth rate ranked second in the country.

Among them, exports were 25.9 billion yuan, an increase of 122.2%; imports were 4.2 billion yuan, an increase of 102.7%.

  Xinjiang's foreign trade from January to August mainly has the following characteristics: first, the coordinated development of foreign trade in the north and south of Xinjiang; second, the substantial growth of trade in traditional markets and emerging markets; It is the supporting role of private enterprises to the development of foreign trade that is prominent.
