Gold prices are falling globally by more than two dollars

Global gold prices fell during today's trading, losing more than two dollars, while other precious metals rose, led by silver.

According to global market data, the prices of the yellow metal in spot transactions decreased by 0.11%, or the equivalent of $2.02, to reach $1,715.54 per ounce, by 10:40 am UAE time.

And gold futures contracts for December delivery fell by 0.16%, equivalent to $2.8, to reach $1,725.95 an ounce.

In terms of other precious metals, silver rose 0.93% to $18.94 an ounce, while platinum increased by 0.09% to $873, while palladium declined by 0.47% to $2165.52.
