9.4 billion dirhams of Dubai real estate transactions in a week

Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department amounted to more than 9.4 billion dirhams, during the past week.

According to the weekly report of the actions issued by the department yesterday, 2,080 pledges of allegiance worth 4.87 billion dirhams were recorded, including 209 sales of land with a value of 946.55 million dirhams, and 1,871 pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas worth 3.92 billion dirhams.

Mortgages recorded a value of 3.42 billion dirhams, including 87 mortgages of land with a value of 2.54 billion dirhams, and 327 mortgages for villas and apartments, with a value of 875.97 million dirhams.

As for donations, it witnessed the registration of 100 donations worth 1.17 billion dirhams, the most prominent of which was in the Dubai Marina area with a value of 364 million dirhams, and again in the Umm Al-Sheif area with a value of 100 million dirhams.

The most important land pledges of 47 million dirhams in the "Island 2" area, followed by a pledge of 26 million dirhams in Al Barsha south of the third, and then a pledge of 26 million dirhams in the gardens of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid.

"Al Habiya Fifth" topped the regions in terms of the number of allegiances, with 78 pledges worth 196 million dirhams, followed by the Nad Al Sheba First area with 25 pledges of 146 million dirhams, and the third in Jebel Ali First, with 24 pledges of 89 million dirhams.

The Palm Jumeirah area witnessed the most important sales of apartments and villas, where three sales were recorded, the first with a value of 92 million dirhams, the second with a value of 87 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area, while the third sale was at a value of 52 million dirhams.

"Business Bay" topped the regions in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, with 295 pledges of 419 million dirhams, followed by Al Wasl area with 227 pledges of 664 million dirhams, and a third in Al Barsha South Fourth, with 145 pledges of 151 million dirhams.
