“The Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia has extended until March 9, 2023 a ban on banks from charging a commission from individuals when issuing currency from deposits or accounts,” the Telegram message says.

The financial regulator clarified that banks until March 9, 2023 will not be able to charge a fee for converting foreign currencies into dollars and euros if the conversion was carried out for the subsequent issuance of funds.

Earlier, the Central Bank of Russia instructed brokers from October 1 to start limiting the sale of securities of unfriendly countries to inexperienced investors.
