On an official visit to Doha, Charles Michel first inaugurated the new diplomatic mission of the European Union in the Gulf emirate.
A proof, according to him, of the “
political will of the EU to strengthen its ties with Qatar
”.
Various topics of common interest were discussed, starting with the energy dossier.
"
Qatar is an important lever for meeting these extremely difficult challenges,
" said the President of the European Council in a press briefing.

.
