Global gold prices rise marginally

Global gold prices rose marginally during today's trading, after they were declining in early trading.

According to global market data, the prices of the yellow metal increased in spot transactions by 0.03%, or the equivalent of $0.58, to $1,718.88 per ounce, by 01:18 pm UAE time.

Gold futures for December delivery rose 0.12%, equivalent to $2.05, to $1,729.95 an ounce.

In terms of other precious metals, silver rose 1.42% to $18.52 an ounce, while platinum increased 1.49% to $859.55, and palladium grew by 1.1% to $2045.03.
