The Kremlin spokesman recalled the words of Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak, who noted that Russia would not supply oil and oil products to countries that would impose price restrictions on Russian oil.

Peskov added that it is Novak who maintains contacts through OPEC, OPEC + and other contacts related to oil issues.

“And Novak yesterday unequivocally and clearly stated that those countries that join a potential such price ceiling, they will not be among the recipients of Russian oil.

We simply will not cooperate with them on oil on such deliberate principles,” the presidential press secretary said.

He clarified that there are "much more" countries that are ready to work on market conditions than the previous ones.

In July, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said that Washington, along with its allies, is working to limit the price of Russian oil.

According to Novak, the imposition of restrictions on the price of Russian oil will lead to the destruction of the world market.
