The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi has announced the development of a new strategy that focuses on attracting the emirate to weddings from abroad in order to attract international visitors, increase the number of these parties, as well as increase the average length of stay in hotels.

The Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Office in the department directed, through a circular issued yesterday, the managers of hotel and tourist establishments and owners of wedding halls to be part of the new strategy through main axes, which include providing facilities and support in the areas of commercial activities by hosting induction trips, free upgrade of rooms and free privileges when signing The contract, in addition to considering the possibility of fully booking the hotel for weddings, flexibility in internal and external music restrictions, and contributing to the promotion of the Abu Dhabi Opportunities Program for marriages, in addition to cooperation in providing data on weddings on a quarterly basis.

The office indicated that, for its part, it will market and promote hotel and tourist facilities and wedding halls, through all social media channels of the office, as well as direct invitations to participate in wedding fairs, introduction trips, promotional campaigns and various marketing activities.

The strategy aims to attract international visitors and increase the average length of stay in the emirate's hotels.
