Emirates Airlines announced yesterday plans to operate the giant A380 aircraft, which will be upgraded, which will include the latest premium economy class cabins, to five new cities, starting next December.

The carrier explained in a statement that the five cities are: New York (JF Kennedy Airport), San Francisco, Melbourne, Auckland and Singapore, noting that it will add more "premium tourism" seats on its flights to London Heathrow and Sydney with the introduction of its improved cabins to its regular services.

And it indicated that it will serve EK 203/204 to New York with its modified A380 aircraft, starting from the first of December, while it will launch its premium tourist cabin to Auckland for the first time to serve EK 448/449, starting from January 15, 2023.

The carrier added that, as of February 1, Melbourne will become the second Australian destination served by Emirates Airlines with an A380 aircraft equipped with a premium economy class cabin, on flight EK406/407, while San Francisco will become the second American destination served by Emirates aircraft. A380 modified with modern interior designs on flight EK 225/226, starting from February 15.

She pointed out that Singapore will receive for the first time the Emirates A380 aircraft equipped with premium economy class, as of March 1, 2023, on flight EK 354 / 355.

Emirates Airlines will provide passengers with more options with the enhancement of A380 services to 42 destinations by the end of March 2023.
