Data published by the Dubai Statistics Center, issued by Dubai Municipality, showed that the total value of completed buildings in the emirate amounted to more than 8.72 billion dirhams during the first half of this year.

The data obtained by "Emirates Today" indicated that multi-storey buildings topped the list of completed buildings in terms of value, registering 5.377 billion dirhams, followed by public buildings with 1.587 billion dirhams, then private villas buildings with 1.33 billion dirhams.

The data indicated that the total value of investment villas buildings during the first half of this year amounted to 230 million dirhams, compared to 196 million dirhams for industrial buildings.

The total number of completed buildings in Dubai during the first half of this year reached 943.

According to "Dubai Statistics", these figures pertain to buildings completed in areas under the supervision of Dubai Municipality during the specified period (first half of 2022).

Private villas accounted for 64.8% of the total number of completed buildings in the emirate, during the period from January to June 2022, with a total of 611 buildings, followed by investment villas with 12.8% of the total, and a total of 121 buildings.

The data showed that multi-storey buildings accounted for 8.3% of the total number of completed buildings during the first half, recording 78 buildings, while the share of public buildings was about 8%, recording 75 buildings, compared to 58 industrial buildings, and 6.2% of the total.

The number of completed buildings during January reached 146, 153 in February, 205 in March, 158 in April, 113 in May and 168 in June.
