The reporter learned from the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) that on August 29, the AG600M full-state new configuration fire-fighting aircraft independently developed by the group made its maiden flight at Zhanghe Airport in Jingmen, Hubei.
The first flight on water is the first public appearance of the AG600M's new fire-fighting paint.
Its paint design scheme mainly reflects the characteristics of emergency rescue aircraft, showing the distinctive features and rescue concepts of fire rescue with Chinese characteristics.
In the follow-up, the AG600M aircraft will continue to carry out scientific research flight tests such as water injection and water injection, and water injection and water injection, taking solid steps towards practical application and batch delivery to users.
The project plans to have the ability to perform fire-fighting tasks in 2023, obtain the fire-fighting airworthiness certificate in 2024, obtain the rescue-type airworthiness certificate in 2025, and realize small batch delivery to customers during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.
