Pablo Isla, executive president of Inditex until this year, has taken a turn in his career to focus on the audiovisual sector, a priori outside his known radius of action in the business sector.

This executive will be producer and president of Fonte Films, a company dedicated to "developing projects of high technical quality with a global vocation" and "committing to new forms of audiovisual expression", to take advantage of and reinforce "the solid Spanish audiovisual industry with the purpose of being an incubator of new national and international talent, of pampering emerging creativity and fostering agreements with other countries".

The former head of

created this production company together with

Carla Pérez de Albéniz

and the lawyer

María Jesús Román

, both with extensive experience in the area, one in the field of content and the other in the legal field.

Graduated in Law and State Attorney, he was General Director of State Assets, General Secretary at Banco Popular Español and Co-Chairman of Altadis, until he joined Inditex in 2005, where he has been Vice-Chairman and CEO, as well as Chairman, since 2011 until last March.

Today, Isla sits on the Nestlé board of directors, advises General Atlantic, and chairs the international advisory board of IE University.

Isla is considered one of the best Spanish executives and was recognized worldwide as the best president in the world in 2017 and 2018 in the reference publication Harvard Business Review.

Pérez de Albéniz will be the executive producer of Fonte Films and brings 25 years of experience.

In the last three, this professional has been responsible for the production department of the Movistar+ Originals area.
