The central reserve has allocated 10 billion yuan for agricultural production and water conservancy disaster relief, and fully supports local governments to do a good job in drought relief and disaster relief, autumn grain disaster prevention and stabilization, and ensuring the safety of drinking water for the masses.
The first is to arrange 6.5 billion yuan of water conservancy and drought relief funds to support the disaster-stricken areas to carry out water conservancy water diversion, increase the drilling of motorized wells, and build drought-relief water sources needed for disaster relief, focusing on ensuring drinking water for the masses and agricultural irrigation water.
The second is to arrange agricultural production funds of 3.5 billion yuan for agricultural drought relief and autumn grain production, which are mainly used to support disaster-stricken farmers to purchase fuel, pesticides, seeds and other materials needed for agricultural production recovery; Insecticides and other mixed pesticides that improve the drought resistance of crops will be subsidized to prevent the spread of drought, ensure a stable and bumper harvest of autumn crops, and provide strong support for ensuring national food security.
The Ministry of Finance requires all localities to allocate the central financial disaster relief funds in a timely manner to further strengthen the management of funds, focusing on supporting the drought resistance of middle rice, taking into account the actual situation of the recent disaster, and coordinating the related work of drought relief and disaster prevention and stabilization of autumn grains.
