“Once the order is placed, the passenger receives a notification if another user is going in the same direction and shares the ride.
If this is the case, the price of the race is automatically reduced and the amount of this reduction varies according to the detour: the longer it is, the greater the reduction, ”explains Uber in a press release.
However, the firm specifies that it is not possible to make an UberX Share trip while being accompanied by relatives in the car.
