In line with the tobacco tax hike in October, JT decided to raise the price of 41 heated tobacco brands by 20 to 30 yen per box.
The company will apply to the Ministry of Finance on the 25th, and if the application is approved, the price will be raised from October 1st.
Among the main brands, the price of "Mobius Plume Tech only" will be raised from the current 570 yen to 600 yen.
Following the tobacco tax hike in October, Philip Morris Japan will also raise the price of heated cigarettes by 20 yen from October 1st.
