Al Tayer reviews work progress in the green data center

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), was briefed on the progress of work in the largest green data center in the Middle East and North Africa region, affiliated with the Data Center for Integrated Solutions "Moro" wholly owned by "Digital DEWA". The digital arm of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, within the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park.

The center is the second green data center launched by the company "Moro" based on solar energy in Dubai.

It will provide digital products and services based on the latest technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as cloud services, the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence.

Al Tayer said: “This center comes in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to achieve zero emissions and climate neutrality by 2050, and in line with the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031, which aims to improve government performance, speeding up achievement, and creating creative and innovative work environments with high productivity.
