A man in his 60s who brutally murdered the owner of a regular restaurant to pay off debt and sent the crime scene to his acquaintances with a mobile phone has been sentenced to a severe sentence.

On the 24th, the Busan District Court Eastern Branch Criminal Settlement Division 1 (Chief Judge Ji-kyung Choi) sentenced a man in his 60s to 25 years in prison for murder.

Person A was arrested on the 15th of May, in a house in Bannyeo-dong, Haeundae-gu, Busan, on the charge of killing the owner of a restaurant, B, who he often visited, by swinging a knife several times.

According to the police investigation, including the judgment, Mr. A borrowed money from Mr. B and did not pay it back, so he was asked for repayment, and after that, he quarreled and committed a crime.

After the crime, Mr. A took a picture of the crime scene with Mr. B on his mobile phone and sent it to his acquaintances.

He later fled the scene and even tried extreme options.

In court, Mr. A claimed that he committed the crime accidentally during an argument with Mr. B and that he was not a planned murder.

However, as a result of the diagnosis of the National Forensic Service, it was found that Mr. A was stabbed several times with a knife even after Mr. B died.

The court found that Mr. A had carefully planned the murder in advance, pointing out that he searched the internet for killing and extreme options before the crime, and said goodbye to his acquaintances right before the crime.

In addition, considering the fact that Mr. A took a picture of Mr. B's body with his cell phone and sent it to an acquaintance, it was judged that it was difficult to see that the crime was an accidental act, citing the boldness and carelessness of the crime.

The court explained the reason for the sentencing, saying, "The crime method and actions taken after the crime are planned and very cruel." .
