China News Service, August 18th, the Ministry of Commerce held a regular press conference on the 18th. Regarding the supply of daily necessities, especially "vegetable baskets" in key areas of the epidemic, Ministry of Commerce spokesperson Shu Jueting introduced Hainan, Tibet, Xinjiang, etc. After the outbreak of the local epidemic, the Ministry of Commerce immediately contacted the competent commercial authorities in the relevant regions to keep abreast of the local supply of daily necessities; according to local needs, actively organize cross-regional transportation of goods, coordinate and solve related problems, and ensure the stable supply of daily necessities in key areas of the epidemic.

Mainly carried out the following aspects:

The first is to guide local commercial authorities to do their best to supply local daily necessities.

We instruct key areas such as Hainan, Tibet, Xinjiang and other key epidemic areas to learn from the experience of market supply guarantee in other regions, focus on strengthening the overall planning of the supply of goods in the region, ensure smooth transportation in the region, and implement the closed-loop management of "special personnel, special vehicles, special lines, and special management", and strive to open up Deliver the "last mile" and "last 100 meters".

The second is to carry out joint insurance and joint supply for key areas of the epidemic.

Around Hainan, Tibet, and Xinjiang, organize joint insurance and joint supply provinces to prepare for support and transportation at any time.

Among them, Tibet and Xinjiang have established an 8-province joint guarantee and supply mechanism with Henan, Shandong, Sichuan, Yunnan, Gansu, and Qinghai to connect the origin of goods, and timely coordinate with relevant departments to solve problems such as cross-regional transportation of guaranteed vehicles.

In the 9-province joint insurance and joint supply mechanism established around Hainan, Sichuan Province organized 6 key supply guarantee enterprises in three cities of Mianyang, Yibin and Luzhou, forming a system that sorts 15,000-20,000 servings of vegetables with 2-3 specifications per day. Ability to support at any time; Guangdong Province organizes convenience food sources to supply Hainan in two port cities of Maoming and Zhanjiang.

The third is to help Hainan coordinate the supply of emergency supplies.

The Ministry of Commerce immediately coordinated Guangdong, Hubei, Chongqing, Guizhou, Guangxi, Yunnan and other places to help Hainan realize the supply of 100,000 sets of emergency supplies such as folding beds, towels, pillows, and toiletry bags.

The fourth is to promote the solution of cross-regional transportation problems.

In response to the mutual recognition of vehicle passes and the poor transportation of fresh materials in Sichuan, Tibet, Yunnan and other places, the Ministry of Commerce instructs local commerce departments to ensure vehicle access, and promotes it through the State Council Leading Group Office of Logistics Guarantee Coordinate solution.

According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Commerce, at present, the reserves of daily necessities such as rice, noodles, oil, meat, eggs, milk, and convenience foods in Hainan, Tibet, Xinjiang and other places are relatively sufficient, and the prices are generally stable.

For the "vegetable basket" that residents are more concerned about, the current dynamic commercial inventory of vegetables in Hainan is about 6,750 tons, about 1,200-1,300 tons per day for self-production, and nearly 3,500 tons of vegetables transferred from other provinces every day; the dynamic commercial inventory of vegetables in Tibet is 2,120 tons, and the amount of fruits and vegetables in transit within 3 days More than 1,000 tons; Xinjiang's dynamic commercial inventory of vegetables is 20,000 tons, about 10,000 tons per day for self-production, and 1,500 tons of vegetables are transferred from other provinces every day.

From the total amount, the market supply can be guaranteed normally.

At the same time, relevant localities have strengthened distribution through online ordering, offline "point-to-point" and other methods, and gradually alleviated the problems of "difficulty in buying vegetables" for people who are quarantined at home in some high-risk areas.

Shu Jueting said that in the next step, we will continue to closely follow the changes in market supply in key areas of the epidemic, and take targeted measures in a timely manner with relevant departments and localities to ensure the market supply of daily necessities for new situations and new problems faced by the supply guarantee work.
