The key to the government's measures is that if a construction company or landowner uses a construction method that reduces noise between floors, it will give them that much benefit.

The impact sound made by children when they run is 41 decibels, similar to the noise of an air conditioner.

The government said that if the floor structure was used to block noise between floors below 41 decibels, the price would be increased by the amount of construction cost.

A lot of construction companies have the technology to reduce noise by making the floor thicker or adding a rubber-like cushioning material, so they are ready to go.

[Chunhwan Yeo/Director of DL E&C's Media and Public Relations Team: From structural systems to building materials and sound insulation materials, it can be seen that the technology related to noise between floors has been secured at a certain level.]

The government is planning to build an apartment higher because thicker floors lower the floor height. I said I would make it possible.

[Won Hee-ryong/Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport: We are thinking that we should provide administrative and financial support so that we can eventually find the full cost of the cost to reduce the noise between floors and do not incur any damage.

] How high it will go has not been disclosed.

As these regulations apply from newly designed apartments, it is expected that apartments with reduced noise will only be available five years after considering the permits and construction period.

For houses currently being built or existing houses, loans of up to 3 million won to install noise-reducing mats, and to create a management committee for complexes with 500 or more households were limited to residents themselves.
