China News Service, August 17th. The National Health and Health Commission held a press conference on the 17th to introduce the "Guiding Opinions on Further Improving and Implementing Active Reproductive Support Measures".

Pan Wei, deputy director of the Housing Security Department of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, said at the meeting that in recent years, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, together with relevant departments, has thoroughly implemented the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, and has guided and urged localities to further standardize the development of public rental housing. Leasing subsidies have been given simultaneously, and the protection of urban households with housing income difficulties has been continuously increased.

Urban subsistence allowances and low-income families with housing difficulties have basically achieved all the guarantees they need, and the living conditions of other families with housing income difficulties have been effectively improved.

By the end of last year, 1.114 million families with minor children, 69,000 three-child families and 23,000 family planning families with special difficulties had been helped to solve their housing problems through public rental housing guarantees.

Pan Wei introduced that in the next step, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development will continue to guide and urge localities to further standardize the development of public rental housing. Taking this "Guiding Opinions" as an opportunity to increase the precision guarantee of public rental housing for families with many children, there are mainly three Aspects of support: First, when allocating public rental housing, eligible families with minor children can be given appropriate care in the choice of apartment type according to the number of their minor children.

The second is to optimize the queuing and allocation rules for public rental housing, and incorporate the number and composition of families into factors such as queuing ranking or comprehensive scoring. For eligible families with a large number of children, they can directly organize housing selection.

The third is to improve the public rental housing exchange policy. If there is demand due to factors such as family population increase, employment, and children's schooling, they will be exchanged in a timely manner according to housing availability.
