Diesel was thus worth 1.79 euros per liter on average, down 4.93 cents compared to the previous week, according to data stopped last Friday and published by the government.
It has fallen for nine consecutive weeks and has not been this low since February.
Prices drop more than 20% in more than two months
The super unleaded 95 was sold for 1.7790 euros (-5.72 cents) and the super unleaded 95-E10 1.7360 euros (-5.81 cents).
After soaring at the start of the year due to the recovery in demand with the end of the confinements and the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, prices fell by more than 20% in two and a half months.

Prices have continued to fall lately against a backdrop of a slowdown in the Chinese economy and the possibility of an agreement with Iran on the nuclear issue, which would allow the return to the market of Iranian production.
In France, the prices currently take into account a rebate financed by the State of 18 centimes per liter of fuel in mainland France.
For the future, Parliament adopted a fuel discount of 30 cents per liter in September-October and 10 in November-December.
