Dubai Airports wins gold at the 2022 World Stevie Awards
Dubai Airports won the Gold Stevie Award for the most innovative workplace redesign during the COVID-19 pandemic at the seventh annual Stevie Awards for Great Employers.
Dubai Airports was able to win this prestigious award after implementing a set of innovative initiatives aimed at protecting the health and safety of employees, customers and guests during the pandemic, which included the re-design of workplaces at Dubai airports while providing them with dedicated and free facilities for examination and vaccination for all employees and their families.
During the pandemic, Dubai Airports implemented a series of important technological changes within a very short period, which were aimed at changing the concept of working at Dubai airports, as innovative platforms for online coordination were included and the video-supported conference feature was activated to alleviate the restrictions imposed and allow remote work.
These changes also included the launch of the Dubai Airports electronic signature platform to enable the workforce to complete their work completely digitally, and to enhance the concept of the ability to work from anywhere, in addition to automating the services of human resources employees, which contributed to eliminating paper transactions and raising the employee’s experience to advanced levels.
All of these measures contributed to ensuring the highest standards of safety for employees, as well as improving work efficiency and providing the opportunity to adopt new methods in the work environment without contact.
