“As of August 1, 2022, the volume of the NWF amounted to 12,155,885.2 million rubles, or 9.1% of GDP projected for 2022, which is equivalent to $198,268.9 million,” the report says.
At the same time, the volume of liquid assets of the fund (funds in bank accounts with the Central Bank) amounted to 8.664 trillion rubles, which is equivalent to $141.309 billion.
Earlier, the Ministry of Finance reported that the volume of the NWF as of July 1, 2022 is 10,774,981.5 million rubles, which at that time was equivalent to $210,621.6 million.
