As highlighted in a study by the Kayak.fr site relayed by BFM TV on Wednesday, online inquiries for this type of vehicle over the summer period increased by 198% between 2019 and 2022.

“About 86% of French people say they are influenced by eco-responsibility for their vacation plans this summer.

For a round trip Lille-Marseille with an average rental car in August, it will take 506 € in gasoline, 455 € in diesel and 174 € in electric.
