Gold rises more than 3 dollars in spot transactions
Global gold prices rose in spot transactions for today's session, achieving gains of more than $3, while futures contracts for the yellow metal and other precious metals declined.
According to global market data, the prices of the yellow metal rose in spot transactions by 0.19%, or the equivalent of $3.4, to $1764.8 per ounce, by “02:14 pm UAE time.”
And gold futures contracts for December delivery fell 0.51%, or $9.45, to $1,780.15 an ounce.
In terms of other precious metals, palladium fell by 1.78% to $2053.02, silver fell by 1.37% to $19.87 an ounce, and platinum fell 1.76% to $896.4.
