To create his "Autoart 993R", the recipe of Paul Stephens and his team was quite simple, on paper: take the Porsche 911 Type 993 from the years 1994 to 1998, the last generation whose engine was cooled by air (and not by water), and "improve it by 25% in each area.

Compared to the most powerful 993 of the time, the 993 RS, the 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine was boosted from 300 to 330 horsepower.

But above all, Paul Stephens' 993R went on a small diet: with 1,220 kg displayed on the scale, it is 50 kg lighter than the 993 RS of the time which, as we recall, was the most extreme developed by Porsche.

ABS, which prevents the wheels from locking when braking, is standard.

The bodywork and interior have also been redesigned with one goal in mind: lightness.
