The overall shape of the new station building is like a "wooden house", which aims to reflect the living scene of the 100,000 officers and soldiers who were relocated to the "Great Northern Wilderness" more than half a century ago.

According to the reporter's understanding, the station was built in 1958, and the name of the station was personally named by General Wang Zhen, then Minister of Agriculture and Reclamation Department, during his inspection of the construction of the Midong (Mishan to Dongfanghong) railway.

Liu Jinzhong, who came to work in the station in 1995, told reporters that he was still a second-generation station house when he first started working, and the conditions were relatively difficult.

With the continuous development of the local economy and society, this "3.0" version of the new station building can better meet the travel needs of passengers.

It has made great contributions to the development of the forest area. For example, we have a Dongfanghong grain depot and several rice factories. The rice they produce, as well as the local food, are all transported by Dongfanghong Station. , making great contributions to local economic development.

　　Our Dongfanghong Station is a new station building with a construction area of ​​1,800 square meters. At the beginning of the design, our team considered combining the station building with the natural scenery of Dongfanghong (town) location, and at the same time the most characteristic It is the façade of this building. It is embodied by an abstract east character. Its roof is a sloping roof and a herringbone sloping roof. It is like a snowy forest hut. Mountain peaks echo.

At the same time, because the station building is located in the alpine region of China, the exterior wall of the station building is designed with A-grade rock wool insulation to ensure the thermal insulation and comfort inside the station building.
