"The Livret A is within everyone's reach"

News that delights the French: "It's pretty good already," says a resident of the capital.

"It's rather good news. Finally, it pays a little bit more. It's always taken," adds another.

"2%, it's not going to change much"

So concretely, if you place €10,000 on your Livret A over a full year, you will now receive €200 instead of €100 currently.

But that's not enough to convince some.

“Given the previous remuneration already, it was not huge, so 2% and taking into account inflation, it will not change much”, explains this inhabitant questioned.

"I don't know if that will be enough, that inflation is still at 6.2%. It's still quite boring," said another man.
