According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, the quota will be 1.35 million tons.

“The government ... has decided to extend the tariff quota for exports outside the Eurasian Economic Union of ferrous scrap and waste.

It will remain in effect until the end of 2022.

It is noted that it will amount to 1350 thousand tons.

When exporting metal in the amount of the quota, the duty will be 5%, but not less than €100 per ton, in addition - 5%, but not less than €290 per ton. 

Earlier, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development reported that the customs subcommittee approved the extension of the tariff quota for the export of ferrous scrap and waste from August 1 until the end of 2022.
