The Friendship Tunnel is the first cross-border railway tunnel between China and neighboring countries. Its name implies the profound friendship between the people of China and Laos.
At present, Mohan Station on the China-Laos Railway will implement the epidemic prevention requirements of "testing, disinfection, and operation later" for every entry and exit train. When the freight train returns, the vehicle body will be checked at the entrance of the Friendship Tunnel on the China-Laos border. Spray disinfect.
Up to now, the China-Laos railway has transported more than 1 million tons of inbound and outbound goods through international intermodal transportation.
The opening of the China-Laos Railway for international intermodal freight trains has promoted regional connectivity, and freight transportation has covered Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore and other countries and regions.
