“The flow of gas through Nord Stream is declining and currently stands at 19.5% of the maximum capacity after the reduction in supply volumes announced today,” TASS quotes a message from the German regulator.

It is noted that the situation with gas supply in Germany is tense, and its further deterioration cannot be ruled out.

Earlier, the German gas transmission operator Gascade reported that Russian gas supplies via Nord Stream had fallen to about 20% of the maximum throughput.

Stanislav Mitrakhovich, a leading expert of the National Energy Security Fund, a lecturer at the Financial University under the Government of Russia, spoke about the situation with gas in the EU in an interview with Economics Today.
