It is noted that at the moment, most of the Kazakh coal was delivered to the EU by sea with transshipment in the ports of Russia or the Baltic states - 782 thousand tons (240 thousand tons for the whole of 2021).

635 thousand tons were delivered by rail (540 thousand tons for the whole of 2021).

Another 90 thousand tons of Kazakh coal arrived in Germany by road.

Earlier it was reported that Germany from August 1 can completely stop coal supplies from Russia, and from December 31 to refuse Russian oil.

The scientific director of the Center for Ethnic and International Studies, Candidate of Historical Sciences Anton Bredikhin, in an interview with the FAN, commented on possible restrictions on the import of Russian oil.
