Gold prices are rising globally

Global gold prices rose during today's trading, while investors around the world awaited the results of the Federal Reserve's meeting on interest rates.

According to global market data, the prices of the yellow metal rose in spot transactions by 0.12%, or the equivalent of $2.17, to $1,721.88 per ounce, by "09:50 AM UAE time".

Gold futures rose 0.04%, or $0.7, to $1,719.75 an ounce.

In terms of other precious metals, platinum increased 0.31% to $872.65, palladium rose 0.11% to $2005.5, and silver rose 0.32% to $18.38 an ounce.
