Gazprom has studied these documents, but I have to admit that they do not remove the previously identified risks and raise additional questions,” the company said.

It is noted that the company still has open questions regarding the sanctions of the European Union and Great Britain.

Gazprom explained that the solution of these issues is important for the delivery of the turbine to Russia and the urgent overhaul of other gas turbine engines for the Portovaya CS.

In this regard, Gazprom once again asked Siemens for immediate support in providing the necessary documents and clarifications to resolve the issues that remained open.

Earlier, the media reported that Siemens Energy had transferred to Gazprom an export license from Canada, allowing it to transport and repair gas turbines for Nord Stream.

On July 10, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz thanked "Canadian friends and allies" for the decision to return Germany's Siemens gas turbine for the Nord Stream pipeline.
