Yesterday, the Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, witnessed in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, the signing ceremony of Bahrain’s accession as a fourth partner to the Integrated Industrial Partnership Initiative for sustainable economic development, a partnership that was originally launched in the UAE on May 29, 2022, with the aim of enhancing the role of Industrial sector.

The member states of the initiative renewed their invitation to all brothers and partners to join this partnership, which now includes the UAE, Egypt, Jordan and Bahrain, and aims to enhance cooperation, coordination and integration between these countries, empower the industrial sector and enhance its role, increase its contribution to the GDP, and grant sector companies The opportunity to expand its business, strengthen and establish partnerships in the region, increase new and quality jobs, reduce product costs, and protect supply chains.

The signing ceremony took place after the second meeting of the Higher Committee of the Integrated Industrial Partnership Initiative for sustainable economic development.

Bahrain’s joining the partnership is a positive addition to it, given the importance of the industrial sector in Bahrain and its effective economic contribution, especially in industries such as oil and gas industries, aluminum industry, petrochemicals and plastics industry, food processing, ready-made garments sector, engineering industries, and the availability of infrastructure at the level of Telecommunications, technology, transportation networks, advantages and exemptions in this sector.
